What Is IVF Treatment?
IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) is a fertility treatment in which eggs are retrieved from the ovaries, fertilized with sperm in a laboratory environment, and then transferred to the uterus as embryos. IVF is used in a wide range of fertility situations, including female factor infertility, male factor infertility, unexplained infertility, and cases where other treatments have not resulted in pregnancy.
Although IVF follows similar scientific principles worldwide, the way treatment is planned, monitored, and adjusted differs significantly depending on the medical approach of the clinic and physician.
IVF is not a single procedure but a multi-stage medical process. Each stage requires clinical judgment, laboratory precision, and patient-specific decision-making.
